School of Art- Student Administrative Office Assistant
Position Summary:
The School of Art (SoA) Administrative Office seeks a highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for art and community engagement to fulfill the role of an office assistant. This position will be tasked with clerical and marketing functions and occasional support with events. Total work will be 10-25 hours per week, depending on department needs and student availability, Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. The person selected will work under the supervision of the front desk administrative assistant.
Current work-study eligible students at the University of Arizona and from any disciplinary background are encouraged to apply.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Data Entry.
· Organizing and filing paper and electronic files.
· Greeting walk-in guests and answering phones as needed.
· Social media content collaboration
· Provide guidance information and wayfinding to different areas of the SOA building and UA campus.
· Campus deliveries.
· Creating packets and putting mailings together.
· Event support, such as invite production and making follow up calls.
· Light Design work
· Tour guide for SoA tour request from the public.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SOA events and public programming.
· Other duties as assigned.

· Customer service skills, in person, on the telephone and online.
· Excellent observation, communication and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to prioritize tasks and develop practical strategies for organizing work.
· High level of initiative and ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively.
Minimum qualifications:
· Work-study eligible
· Microsoft Office software experience
· Customer service
Position Details
This paid position is $15/hr, working 10-25 hours per week. The position offers flexible shift scheduling between 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Mondays-Fridays. The start date for this position is August 25, 2025.
