• Manager is looking for the below:
Looking for a Project Coordinator
* Type of Work the candidate will be doing: will be working in artwork and labeling department, working with the Project Manager to create labeling of materials, instructions, etc., working with a cross-functional team and an Artist coordinating information NOT designing.
* Skills Needed: Strong Proofreading, Editing, familiarity with Terminology and the creating process for layout and design, must be quick, willing to multi-task, Project Management or Coordination is highly important.
* Technical Skills Needed: MS/Adobe Acrobat and others per the attached job description
* A background in advertising, editing & proofreading, artwork, event signage is helpful.
* Some titles that are helpful: Project Management/Coordinator, Traffic Coordinator, Artwork/Design, Marketing Project Coordinator, Proofreading, Editor, PMs with Medical Device experience are good
* Education: Bachelors in one of the disciplines listed in the job description attached with a minimum of 2 years of experience; or without a degree must have at a minimum 5 years of experience; with a H.S. Diploma or GED must have 5 plus years of experience; Masters degree works but must have the 2 years minimum work experience
* Interview Process: 1) Phone Screen; 2) In-person (onsite) interview.
Will no longer be required to find both labeling and marketing experience. Managers agreed that the below is what is most important and that they would share with their team.
Advertising BG, exp w/marketing brochures, was mentioned.
Adobe Acrobat is a plus
Good writing and proofreading skills
Good organizational experience in a methodological way to keep track of projects and due dates.
Very detailed oriented
Ability to communicate with cross functional teams for input.
MS Office suite w/Excel being mentioned in required.
Multi-tasking
Fully Onsite, no remote.
Fresh grad as this is entry level and if the candidate wants to pursue or learn more about marketing, that could be a good fit as well.
Overqualified would be a manager, manufacturing, R&D project coord.
