Chemistry Lab Assistant

We are seeking passionate and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Chemistry Lab Assistants on the Hahn Hall North (HHN) 3rd floor labs. As a vital member of our team, you will play a key role in supporting the operations of the chemistry courses on the 3rd floor of HHN and courses in USLB. This position offers a great opportunity for students pursuing science majors to gain valuable experience in a laboratory environment. Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and organization of materials and equipment for laboratory experiments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory areas.
• Help in inventory management, including restocking supplies and tracking usage.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to laboratory guidelines and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:

• MUST HAVE FEDERAL WORK STUDY FUNDING
• College coursework in chemistry or related field preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a laboratory setting.
