Thought Leadership and Writing Intern
Firstwork is transforming workforce operations for the 2.7 billion frontline workers—drivers, nurses, cooks, cleaners - who keep our world running. Right now, these workers face outdated hiring processes: weeks lost chasing paperwork, unexplained rejections, delayed paychecks, and disrupted lives.
We’re building an AI-driven platform that fixes this - turning onboarding and compliance from weeks into hours. Our mission is clear: empower essential workers to get hired faster, paid sooner, and achieve stability earlier.
We’re backed by top-tier investors including Y Combinator, Google's Gradient Ventures, Palantir, Soma Capital, 468 Capital, and Houghton Street Ventures. Our CEO, Vardhan Kapoor, brings a deep background in tech, finance, and operational excellence: shortlisted by the Financial Times and McKinsey for their prestigious Bracken Bower Prize, part of the team behind a NASDAQ IPO, and instrumental in two unicorn exits.
At Firstwork, we prioritize execution, intellectual honesty, and genuine impact. Our culture is fast-moving, slightly irreverent, and focused obsessively on solving real-world problems.
