Role: UI/UX Dashboard Specialist

We’re looking for a dashboard-obsessed problem solver to help us polish and perfect the NovaChat user interface.
This isn’t an intern role where you just design wireframes.
You’ll work inside the real product, help ship changes, fix bugs, and optimize flows to help creators manage chats, PPVs, settings, and more.

 

🧪 What You’ll Be Doing

  • Test NovaChat’s dashboard UX and flag friction points
  • Collaborate with our front-end dev to implement simple UI improvements
  • Identify where creators or agencies might get confused and fix it
  • Polish visual structure, button layout, modals, scrolling behavior, responsiveness, and speed
  • Suggest new UI/UX improvements based on user psychology and flow
  • Help redesign key creator/admin flows to reduce steps and increase clarity

🎯 You Should Know (or Be Able to Learn Fast):

  • Basic front-end development (HTML, CSS, JS, React or similar frameworks)
  • UI testing frameworks or manual testing
  • Mobile responsiveness principles
  • Basic understanding of state logic & front-end behavior
  • Figma (for quick mockups, not theory)
  • How to diagnose a bad user experience and make it better fast

  • You love clean interfaces and flow-based thinking
  • You’d rather launch a 90% solution today than sit on 100 ideas for a month
  • You test things like a user and break them like a hacker
  • You’re comfortable inside live dashboards and know when to ask for dev support
  • You don’t wait for permission to improve something

💸 Compensation

  • Unpaid internship to start
  • High-priority path to a paid UI/UX or QA role once NovaChat monetizes
  • Direct experience working with real front-end code, users, and performance
  • Résumé-level impact and ownership

🕓 Time Commitment

  • Remote
  • 20-30 hours/week
  • Collaborate via Notion, Slack, GitHub, Linear
  • This role begins July 1st
