Social Media Intern

We are seeking a creative and passionate Social Media Intern to help us grow our digital presence and amplify our mission. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate who is obsessed with Instagram, TikTok, and all things digital storytelling — and wants to use their skills for social good.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop, schedule, and post engaging content across Instagram, TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and LinkedIn
• Assist with campaign planning and execution (e.g., Shirley’s Club, The Folding Chair, policy explainers)
• Design graphics and reels using Canva or CapCut
• Track social media engagement and assist with analytics reporting
• Research trends and help us stay ahead of the curve on civic and cultural conversations
• Collaborate with Center 1968 staff to amplify program highlights and participant stories
