High Impact Team Member

Summary of Job Duties:

The High Impact Team Member is responsible for daily collection of trash and recycling in and around each residential facility. They are responsible for the clean-up and power washing of trash cans and trash areas outside of the residential facilities. The team members are responsible for the daily clean-up and the flips of our outlying buildings. The team members are responsible for relocating furniture and equipment in and around office buildings, classrooms, lecture halls, conference rooms, auditoriums, residential halls, dining areas, building common areas, and other areas as requires. This position requires you to attend and to complete training in a timely manner. Responsibilities also include minor maintenance of department vehicles and equipment. Other duties as assigned. This position is governed by state and federal laws and agency/institution policy.

Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job function of this job, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial harmonious working relationships with others.


Qualifications:

 

Minimum Qualifications:

Ability to effectively communicate to be able to perform job duties 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in the custodial field 

Basic understanding of computerized systems such as email, CMMS, and Time Recording software 

Experience working in an environment where young adults are present 

Valid drives license 

Good driving record 

 

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):

Ability to read and write  

Ability to follow multiple instructions 

Ability to lift weight of 50 pounds waist high 

Ability to climb up/down stairs

Ability to endure physical labor 

Ability to work independently and as a functional part of a team  


Additional Information:


Salary Information:

$36,300 (Commensurate with education and experience)
