General Summary

Installs, configures, and maintains network integrated application and operating system software which includes patches and enhancements. Analyzes and designs setup procedures, files, and documentation for new customer implementations. Troubleshoots and resolves hardware, operating system and application software malfunctions and provides corrective action to address Local Area Network impact and minimize customer inconvenience. Provides customer training and ongoing support. Utilizes current countywide and/or department specific software to complete assignments.

Required Minimum Qualifications

At the time of application, applicants must:

1. a. Possess an Associate’s degree or equivalent education from an accredited college or university with a major in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field of study.

b. Have had at least three (3) years of full-time professional work experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked computer hardware, software, and related peripherals; OR

2. a. Must be a high school graduate, or have a certificate of successful completion of the General

Education Development Test.

b. Have had at least five (5) years of full-time professional work experience in the installation, configuration and maintenance of networked computer hardware, software, and related peripherals.

3. Possess a valid motor vehicle operator’s or chauffeurs license.

Special Requirements

1. Must maintain a valid motor vehicle operator's or chauffeur’s license.

2. Must pass a background check performed by the County or other appropriate agencies as required.

Pay Range

USD $66,849.00 - USD $89,566.00 /Yr.
