🩺 Position Overview
We are seeking an Equine Associate Veterinarian to join our collaborative team. Ideal candidates will bring skills in general practice and equine sports medicine, but we also welcome new graduates who are passionate about equine care—we offer full mentorship and support.
✅ What You’ll Need
DVM or equivalent from an accredited veterinary program
Licensed (or eligible) to practice in Iowa
Passion for equine health; experience preferred but not required
Strong diagnostic, treatment, and client communication skills
Willingness to travel for farm calls within a 40-mile radius
A collaborative, team-first mindset
📅 Schedule & Work-Life Balance
Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Flexible Work Options: 4-day work week available
Equitable On-Call Rotation (shared evenly among doctors)
Holiday Coverage: Decided by unanimous team agreement

💰 Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: Starting at $85,000+ (based on experience)
Production Bonus opportunity
$5,000/year Student Loan Repayment
