
Accounting Clerk

Essential Duties:
- Meet a daily quota of reviewing assigned billable files. This includes: obtaining proper backup documentation for fees, fee approvals and proof of costs, validating invoices prior to submission, and generating invoices
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all invoice line items, meeting billing timelines
- Ensure all client and internal systems are updated to include actions taken and all correspondence
- Work in a team environment under attorney supervision to prepare documents such as letters
- Attend to details, solve mathematical computations correctly and accurately make revisions
- Follow various client requirements and adapt when updates to processes occur
- Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure requirements
- Participate in special projects as assigned by management
- Handle confidential client information in a professional and trustworthy manner
- Work flexibly and manage changing priorities
- Work full-time, on-site during regular business hours

Preferred Qualifications:
- Basic principles of Quality Assurance and/or Quality Control
Education/Experience: An equivalent combination of the following:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree strongly preferred (or applicable experience)
- 1 year Accounting or Billing Experience (Preferred) with compensation commensurate with experience
Physical Functions:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time, operate a computer, and regularly listen to/learn new training material. Some walking and standing relative to interaction with other personnel.
Work Environment:
Works generally at a desk in a well-lit, air-conditioned cubicle/office with moderate noise levels.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
