Lifecycle Marketing Manager

About the Team

The Scaled Creator Growth team focuses on helping Patreon’s midmarket creators thrive. We drive product adoption, earnings, and retention through scalable programs, experiments, and communications—especially email. We work cross-functionally with Product, Lifecycle Marketing, and other GTM teams to make sure creators get the right support at the right time.

About the Role

As Patreon’s Mid Market Lifecycle Strategist, you’ll lead the end-to-end email and lifecycle messaging strategy for the majority of Patreon’s creators. You’ll decide what to send, when to send it, who to target—and then you’ll write the copy and launch the campaign. This role blends behavioral science, lifecycle planning, creative experimentation, and performance copywriting to help creators take meaningful actions that grow their revenue.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Developing creator personas and messaging frameworks for different types of email journeys
  • Building lifecycle strategies aligned to quarterly goals, product releases, and your own insights from campaign performance
  • Designing and executing onboarding, adoption, and re-engagement journeys
  • Creating urgency-based messaging tactics to increase product usage and earnings
  • Owning our experimentation calendar—developing hypotheses, A/B testing subject lines, CTAs, and messaging paths, and learning fast
  • Building out a complete midmarket creator lifecycle and owning its end-to-end performance
  • You’ll cross functionally to shape how we communicate with creators at scale, and ensure your messaging strategies are tightly connected to company goals.

About You

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in building and launching email campaigns from end to end: strategy, copy, segmentation, testing, and deployment
  • You’re a creative problem solver with a deep understanding of behavioral science and how to apply it in messaging
  • You’ve designed persona-based journeys and know how to tailor messaging to drive action across different user types
  • You’re experienced with lifecycle marketing strategy—from mapping customer journeys to setting up automated flows
  • You’re data-informed and results-obsessed—you design experiments, measure what matters, and iterate quickly
  • You’re excited to lead and own a roadmap of lifecycle experiments that directly tie to company and creator growth goals
  • You care about creators and want to help them earn more doing what they love

This is a role for someone who wants ownership, creativity, and impact—a lifecycle thinker who can execute and optimize at every stage of the journey.
