Baseline Requirements:

  • Currently enrolled as a university student (undergraduate or graduate) in their sophomore year or above.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Available to work Part-time (20 hrs/wk) or Full-time (40 hrs/wk), Fall 2025 through Summer 2026
  • Authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship by the company
  • Hybrid – Huntsville, AL or Marlborough, MA

What you’ll be doing

This position is for a Software Development intern position who will be a member of a DevOps/Build System Development engineering team who are developing new tools and processes using a Kubernetes/Docker based system that takes Engineering Source code, compiles, links, and produces as an end-product EBS Division software installs.

What you’ll bring

  • Enrolled in a Computer Science field of study with at least 1-2 years of college course work completed
  • Proficient in GoLang Development
  • Proficient in React/Javascript Development
  • Knowledge of API Design
  • Knowledge of Security in a Web Development Environment
  • Preferred:
    • Knowledge of Kubernetes
    • Knowledge of Docker/Containers in general
    • Proficient in Git/GitLab

The hourly range for this position is $18.00 to $50.00. Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate’s work location, as well as degree type and relevant education.
