Physical Education Teacher

Gross Schechter Day School is seeking a Physical Education Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. The Physical Education Teacher is responsible for classes between Kindergarten and 8th Grade with potential for Early Childhood classes (3-4 years old).  Duties include but are not limited to planning and implementing physical education activities, monitoring students, and evaluating student outcomes. Physical Education in the elementary school generally emphasizes sports-related skills, movement patterns, games, and fitness activities. The teacher is to create a classroom environment that fosters, promotes and develops an understanding of the relationship of healthy body function and exercise.
