RESPONSIBILITIES/JOB DESCRIPTION:
Student Outreach & Support (25%)- Perform outreach to students regarding academic progress concerns, survey responses, and other student success-related topics. Connect with them using multiple communication channels including phone, email, SMS.
Student Alert Support (25%)- Review and assign submitted Navigate360 alerts to campus partners. Build alert reports for distribution to key stakeholders.
Re-enrollment Support (10%)- Assist with the re-enrollment process. Build and deploy communications. Create re-enrollment lists for distribution to campus partners.
Navigate360 Operational Work (40%)- Assist with the day-to-day support of Navigate360, the University’s student success management technology tool that supports students and their academic progress and degree completion efforts. Specific duties may include:
Assist with triaging and responding to user needs.
Complete operational tasks within the system.
Documenting changes and updates within tracking documents.
Developing and updating user guides and materials
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor's Degree
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong computer skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Admitted to a Minnesota State University, Mankato graduate program by start date.
- Enrolled in a minimum of six (6) graduate credits per semester during assistantship, and in good academic standing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work independently and as a team member.
- Comfortable handling sensitive situations and data.
- Previous customer service, student advising, student services, retention, re-enrollment, data management systems experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
SALARY/STIPEND: Up to $10,000 plus tuition stipends, dependent upon availability of funds, period of appointment, and assignment. Appointments made after the tenth day of classes are not eligible for a tuition waiver.
RELATED INFORMATION:
Priority consideration given to applications received by July 15, 2025. Application will be open until August 25, 2025 or until filled, whichever comes first.
Term of employment:
• August 2025-May 2026, with potential for renewal (pending funding and mutual agreement).
• Anticipated Start Date will be August 15, 2025.
Minnesota State System policy requires that graduate assistants must reside within the State of Minnesota for the duration of their appointment.
