Junior Full-Stack Developer (Contractor)

Job Title: Junior Full-Stack Developer

Position Type: Contractor 

Salary range: $65000-$85000 based on experience

Location: Woodbridge, NJ

Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

Remote work eligible: After three months, and an acceptable performance review, work from home for 1 – 2 days a week may be considered depending on the project.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Build web-based business applications using React(Nextjs). 
• Database management: Understanding and utilizing databases like SQL and NoSQL for data storage and retrieval.
• Collaboration: Working with senior developers, designers, and other team members to define requirements, implement solutions, and improve processes.
• Code quality and testing: Writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code, and participating in testing and debugging.
• Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving technical issues and contributing to troubleshooting efforts.

Essential Qualifications and Skills: 

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, with knowledge of frameworks like React.
• Familiarity with server-side languages like Node.js, Python.
• Experience with database systems such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL. Familiar with ORM tools.
• Understanding and experience with version control systems like Git.
• Strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and analytical skills are essential for collaborating with others and succeeding in a fast-paced environment.
