Front Desk Associate

Job Summary: San Antonio Spirit is seeking a highly organized, enthusiastic, and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Front Desk Coordinator. This vital role is the first point of contact for our athletes, parents, and visitors, playing a crucial part in creating a welcoming and efficient experience. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with excellent communication skills and a passion for supporting our vibrant cheerleading community.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Warmly greet and welcome all athletes, parents, and visitors, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and professionally, providing accurate information about programs, schedules, and policies.
  • Assist with athlete registration, class sign-ups, and enrollment processes.
  • Handle all payment transactions accurately, including tuition, practice wear, and merchandise, and maintain precise ledger records.
  • Manage the practice wear inventory, distribution, and payment collection as per established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk area and lobby.
  • Update and manage athlete and family contact information in the database.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments for private lessons, evaluations, and facility tours.
  • Communicate important announcements, policy updates, and event information to parents and athletes effectively.
  • Troubleshoot basic administrative issues and escalate complex matters to management as needed.
  • Support coaching staff and management with administrative tasks.
  • Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in a front desk, administrative, or customer service role, preferably in a sports, recreation, or educational setting.
  • Proficiency in using office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) and strong computer skills. Experience with client management or scheduling software is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by class schedules and events.
  • A passion for cheerleading, tumbling, or youth sports is highly desirable.
