Full Stack AI Engineer Inern

We’re looking for a driven Backend Software Engineering Intern with a strong interest in AI and infrastructure. You’ll work closely with our founding team to design and build scalable backend systems that power AI-driven products. This is a hands-on role for someone eager to ship code, learn fast, and shape the technical foundation of a startup.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain APIs, microservices, and data pipelines for AI-enabled applications

Integrate large language models (e.g. OpenAI, Anthropic) into production environments

Collaborate on prompt engineering, vector databases (e.g. Pinecone, Weaviate), and embedding workflows

Work with relational and NoSQL databases to structure and serve user data

Contribute to DevOps tasks including CI/CD, containerization (Docker), and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP)

Write clean, maintainable code and participate in code reviews
