
Accounting Analyst (ID 2874)
Job Summary
The San Diego County Office of Education is recruiting for an Accounting Analyst for the Internal Business Department of the Business Services Division. The Accounting Analyst performs a variety of complex analytical and technical duties to assist with the effective management, implementation, and maintenance of budget and accounting activities for SDCOE programs. Maintains general, income and expenditure ledgers for restricted programs. Prepares a variety of complex and comprehensive fiscal and budget reports.
Requirements / Qualifications
This position requires a combination of education, training and experience that clearly demonstrates possession of the knowledge, and abilities stated in the job description.
A typical qualifying background would include:
Two years of experience involving computerized accounting systems performing comparable duties and responsibilities
-OR-
Completion of college-level course work in accounting, business administration, finance or a closely related field and experience involving familiarity with the business/financial/budgetary operation of an agency. School district and PeopleSoft experience preferred.
