We are looking for Employment Specialist-Recruiters to join our team at our Indianapolis (West side) Indiana  office. A successful Employment Specialist/Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and assist with hiring needs. Ultimately, the responsibilities of the Recruiter are to ensure our company attracts, hires and retains the best employees, while growing a strong talent pipeline; and building relationship with clients who use Express for staffing.

Express is a leader in the staffing industry nationwide.  Express is a 40-year old company with over $4 billion in sales and over 850 locations.  Our Indianapolis office is one of the top offices in the entire company with over $20 million in sales.   We have been leading the staffing industry in Indy since 1995 

Salary/Compensation: 

  • $45,000-55,000 salary plus uncapped commission.
  • Excellent Benefit package:  Medical, Dental, PTO, 401K and Profit Sharing

Responsibilities

  • Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
  • Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
  • Source and recruit candidates by using recruiting databases, ATS, social media etc.
  • Screen candidates resumes and job applications
  • Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates within schedule
  • Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience, and aptitudes
  • Onboard new employees
  • Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
  • Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to the rest of the team.
  • Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the selection process.
  • Build influential relationships with hiring managers and manage key accounts.
