Operations Management Trainee
Job description
Launch Your Career in Operations Management
Operations Management Trainee – Business Rotational Program
Locations: Goshen, Elkhart, Plymouth, Indianapolis (Indiana)
Duration: 1 Year (with a permanent role at the end)
About Lionshead Industries
At Lionshead, we’re not just building products—we’re building futures. As one of Indiana’s fastest-growing manufacturing companies, we’re family-owned, purpose-driven, and dedicated to investing in what matters most: our people.
We believe in Generational Investing—which means long-term thinking, hands-on learning, and helping our team members grow from the ground up. With 350 employees across the U.S. and big plans to double in size over the next five years, there’s never been a better time to join our journey.
The Opportunity: Get Your Hands Dirty. Build Something Real.
This isn’t your average desk job. The Operations Management Trainee Program is a one-year, full-time, fully immersive experience designed for recent grads who want to dive into the real world of manufacturing and operations.
You’ll rotate through multiple departments in one of our active production plants, gaining hands-on experience in areas like:
- Production Operations – Learn how products are made, start to finish.
- Quality Control – Help ensure the highest standards in everything we deliver.
- Safety & Maintenance – Keep things running smoothly—and safely.
- Inventory, Shipping & Order Management – See how we move product and meet customer needs.
- Process Improvement - understand continuous improvement and help on related projects.
You’ll shadow experienced leaders, solve real-world problems, and learn the ins and outs of plant operations with the ultimate goal: preparing you to step into an Operations Manager role by the end of your first year.
Who We’re Looking For
You don’t need decades of experience—just the drive to learn, lead, and make things happen. We’re looking for grads who are:
- Curious and hands-on: You like to figure out how things work by actually doing them.
- Problem solvers: You see challenges as puzzles to solve, not roadblocks.
- Team players: You know how to communicate, collaborate, and contribute.
- Flexible and adventurous: You’re open to new experiences (and locations).
- Hungry to grow: You want a long-term career, not just a job.
- Willingness to do anything: You are willing work on the line, manage plans, throw tires, develop strategies, process transactions.
What You Bring
- A bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or a related field.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, etc.); bonus if you’ve dabbled in data tools.
- A strong work ethic and leadership potential—even if you haven’t had the title yet.
What You’ll Get
- A competitive salary and full benefits.
- Real-world experience in a fast-paced, high-growth company.
- Mentorship from senior leaders who want to see you succeed.
- A clear path to an Operations Manager role after program completion.
- A company culture that values your growth and impact.
