UX Designer Intern

BERCERITA is a nonprofit building an AI-powered, gamified English learning platform for elementary school students in underserved areas of Indonesia. We're looking for a UX Designer Intern to help bring the platform to life with a cartoony, kid-friendly design that’s fun and easy to use.

You’ll work closely with:

  • 3 Intern Engineers (frontend & backend)
  • 1 Product Intern
  • Mentors from Silicon Valley tech companies

What You’ll Do:

  • Design playful, intuitive user experiences for kids aged 6–11
  • Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes with a cartoony look and feel
  • Work on game-style screens like quizzes, scoreboards, badges, and interactive elements
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to iterate designs
  • Learn how to build for social impact and real-world users
