Marty Music Junior Editor / Production Assistant (Part-Time – Hybrid Role)

Hey, what’s up you guys? Marty Music is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Junior Editor to join our team! This is a hands-on opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of YouTube’s biggest guitar education channels. If you’ve got a passion for music, editing, and making stuff look awesome on screen—we’d love to hear from you!

This is a part-time, entry-level role that could grow into a paid position if it’s the right fit.

What You’ll Be Doing:

🎬 Video Editing (Remote/In-Person) – Work on basic edits for lesson videos, gear breakdowns, and other content for YouTube and social media.

📱 Cutting Shorts & Reels (Remote/In-Person) – Help us repurpose content into short-form videos for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

🎨 Thumbnail Design (Remote) – Create eye-catching YouTube thumbnails using Photoshop or Canva. We’ll guide you on the Marty Music style, but creative input is welcome!

🎥 On-Set Production Help (In-Person) – Assist during shoots with camera setup, lighting, audio checks, and keeping things running smoothly (and capo-locating duties, of course).

🧠 Content Brainstorming & Trend Spotting (Remote) – Keep an eye on what’s working in the music/guitar space and bring your ideas to the table.

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Basic editing skills (Premiere Pro)
✔️ Strong visual design sense (thumbnails, titles, etc.)
✔️ Familiarity with YouTube, TikTok, or IG Reels
✔️ A team player with good communication skills
✔️ Bonus: Experience playing guitar or making music content
