Your Responsibilities
As a Product Engineer for JD Coffeyville Works located in Coffeyville, KS, you will:
- Design drivetrain components within transmission and gearboxes such as gears, shafts, castings and other components to meet performance, cost, and schedule requirements.
- Perform engineering calculations to solve design problems and develop design alternatives.
- Manage design from concept to prototype and through to full production through collaboration with other functional groups.
- Provide technical support to marketing, manufacturing, quality and supply management organizations.
- Develop and execute test and analysis plans for product verification and validation

What Skills You Need
- Mechanical design and analysis skills.
- Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
- 3D product modeling skills.
What Makes You Stand Out
- Technical experience relating to design/diagnostics of mechanical/electrical/hydraulic systems.
- Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases.
- Familiarity with MS Office products, Creo, SAP.
- Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills.
Education
Ideally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
