Job Summary
We are seeking skilled Full Stack Developers to join our new team. We already have an app designed in Figma for production and are looking for Full-Stack Developers to assist in the development. The ideal candidate will have experience working with React Native, Node.JS, & Firebase, and modern mobile development tools. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness for both front-end and back-end. The founder of the application has a bachelor's degree in Software Application Development and will lead the entire team.

Important

This is a Founding Full-Stack Developer contract position. There IS NO hourly/annual salary for this position. However, founding developers will be paid once the application begins to turn a profit. The details of the compensation rate will be included in the contract. The details of the application will be disclosed once the contract has been signed.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain cross-platform mobile app features (iOS & Android) using React Native.
  • Integrate Node.JS services (authentication, real-time database, storage).
  • Build UI components based on designs provided in Figma.
  • Push clean, modular code to GitHub and participate in code reviews.
  • Communicate progress, updates, and blockers using Slack and Notion.
  • Collaborate with the founder on feedback, implementation, and improvements.
  • Ensure app responsiveness and performance across devices.

Experience

  • Proven experience in application and web development with a strong knowledge of React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.
  • Experience with Node.JS integration
  • Experience with Firebase integration (Auth, Firestore, Storage).
  • Familiarity with Git and GitHub collaboration workflows.
  • Ability to accurately implement UIs based on design files.
  • Comfortable working in remote and asynchronous environments.
  • Knowledge of Expo, mobile deployment, or Firebase security rules is a plus.
