Part Time Bilingual (Mandarin & English) Customer Service Representative

2 immediate “in office” Part Time Bilingual (English & Mandarin Chinese) Customer Service Representative openings available in a growing Farmers Insurance & Financial Services Agency with over 30 years of experience. No prior insurance experience is required. Ongoing training will be provided. These are long term positions. 

Location: Rowland Heights

Current Business Hours: Monday – Friday 9am to 3pm 

Qualifications:

*Bilingual in English & Mandarin Chinese (minimum conversational level)

*Minimum typing speed: 40 WPM

*Computer-savvy and proficient with Microsoft Office programs

*Strong communication skills in-person and online

*Honest, self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented

*A “passing” background check, conducted by our Corporate Office, is required. 

*Insurance license(s) will be required to gain full access to the Agency's system. Assistance will be provided by the Agency to obtain the required license(s). An active insurance license is not required to be considered for the position, however the candidate must be willing to take the required steps to obtain the license(s).

Job Responsibilities:

*Contact existing clients on a regular basis to review coverage and offer new products. 

*Provide customer service to existing and potential clients by phone, in person (by appointment), and thru email.

*Communicate required documents and guideline changes to clients and follow up as needed.

*Assist to file claims for clients.

*Prepare quotations for existing clients and prospects.

*Collaborate with the Agency Owner, co-workers, Management, Underwriting, and Claims.

*Directly work with the Agency Owner to enhance your marketing & relationship skills and client management, for Agency and individual growth
