Marketing Intern 

Location: New York City, Hybrid (In-person & Remote)
Type: Part-Time Internship (10–15 hrs/week)
Start Date: Flexible
Compensation: Hourly (based on experience)

About the Role:
A New York City-based engagement and proposal photographer is seeking a highly motivated and creative Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing, web analytics, and brand development.

 

Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Assist with planning, scheduling, and posting content to various social channels.

Content Creation:

  • Write SEO-friendly blog posts for recent engagement sessions and proposal stories
  • Help draft copy for website pages, email newsletters, and marketing campaigns
  • Repurpose photos into engaging digital content (social posts, stories, reels, etc.)

Analytics & Strategy:

  • Track social and web analytics using tools (Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Meta for Business)
  • Identify opportunities to boost traffic and grow audience engagement
  • Assist with competitive research and content audits

Email Marketing:

  • Help manage mailing list and create monthly newsletters
  • Assist in developing an on going email program

Qualifications: Strong interest in content creation or willingness to learn!

  • Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills
  • Experience with social media platforms (Instagram and TikTok)
  • Familiarity with Squarespace, Mail Chimp, Photoshop
  • Knowledge of SEO
  • ChatGPT 
  • Highly organized, reliable, and self-motivated
