Junior Data Scientist

We are recruiting a Junior Data Scientist who will have a diverse range of data-focused skills and experience, both technical and analytical. They will have a strong desire and capability for problem solving, data analysis and troubleshooting, analytical thinking, and experimentation, with a particular interest or aptitude in the Cloud arena. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Develop and implement techniques or analytics applications to transform raw data into valuable information using data-oriented programming languages and visualization software. 

Apply data mining, data modeling, natural language processing, and machine learning to analyze information from large structured and unstructured datasets. 

Design and implement machine learning models, including those using large language models 

Conduct statistical analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and verify insights 

Work alongside data engineers to operationalize models into production environments 

Partner with analysts and visualization teams to clearly present findings 

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data availability and organizational needs 

Qualifications: 

2+ years of experience implementing machine learning models and other data science techniques to analyze collected data in Python leveraging libraries 

2+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources 

Experience with data cleansing, data analytics, inferential statistics, programming, and system integration to provide data solutions 

Experience with engineering and testing and evaluating the performance of AI prompts 

Knowledge of appropriate analytic methods and methodological tools in applied mathematics or computer programming 

Ability to execute projects and tasks with minimal guidance and supervision 

Secret clearance
