Social Media Intern

About Us:
We’re launching a one-of-a-kind comic book series based on the alter ego of a nationally recognized college football player. This project lives at the intersection of sports, NIL, anime, and comic books — and we’re looking for a creative, driven intern who wants to be part of something big from the ground floor.

Position Summary:
We’re seeking a Social Media Intern who lives and breathes content. From crafting posts and editing reels to engaging with fans and growing our following, you’ll help build the online presence of an exciting new IP that blends the worlds of college football, anime storytelling, and comic culture.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with content creation across Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter/X — including short-form video, graphics, captions, and stories
  • Help plan and execute a social media calendar and posting schedule
  • Engage with followers, reply to comments/DMs, and help build a community around the brand
  • Monitor trends and provide creative input to keep the content fresh, relevant, and on-brand
  • Support social strategies tied to NIL storytelling, merchandise drops, comic book releases, and fan interaction
  • Assist with client-facing needs, such as helping manage social platforms representing the comic/book brand
  • Track basic analytics and growth metrics, offering insight on what's working

Qualifications:

  • Must be a current college student or recent graduate pursuing (or recently completed) a degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Communications, Graphic Design, Digital Design, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital trends (especially TikTok, IG Reels, and memes)
  • Passion for sports, anime, comics, and/or NIL storytelling is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with basic content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, etc. — advanced skills a plus!)
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter
  • Previous experience running social media for a brand, org, or personal brand is a bonus but not required

What You’ll Gain:

  • Hands-on experience building a brand from scratch
  • Access to unique NIL, comic, and entertainment industry networks
  • Mentorship and potential to grow into a larger creative/content role
  • Portfolio pieces from real-world campaigns and launches
