Join Latina Republic as an Environmental Correspondent and report on environmental challenges, positive initiatives and environmental justice in Latin America and the Caribbean. Cover deforestation, ocean protection, indigenous rights, biodiversity, and how climate change is reshaping communities and migration.
What You’ll Do:
Write original articles and conduct interviews with local environmental leaders
Cover topics like conservation, sustainable development, and environmental activism
Explore the intersection of environmental and human rights
Research innovative, community-led solutions across the region
What We’re Looking For:
Strong writing and research skills
Interest in Latin America and environmental issues
Spanish reading, writing and speaking a big plus. Portuguese, or Creole language skills are a plus, too.
