Behavior Therapist/ABA

Behavior Therapist/ABA

Description: The ABA therapist provides 1:1 interventions to children with autism to help increase their academic, social and communication skills; implement programs based on all principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

You will be responsible for conducting a therapy session, collecting data, documenting behaviors and providing a session summary to the parent and BCBA.

Position Requirements:.

  • Candidates must love fun and playing with young children.  Be energetic, animated, and outgoing.
  • Experience working with children, especially those with autism or other developmental disabilities is very beneficial.
  • Must have ability to bend, lift, run, stoop, kneel and be able to quickly transition from a seated floor position to standing position.
  • Must have ability to deal with moderately challenging behaviors
