Communications Intern

What You Will Do

As Communications Intern, you will support various activities for the Communications Office and the Audio/ Video Team. The intern will work directly under the direct supervision of the Digital Communications Manager. Through this internship, you will have the opportunity to see how local government works to facilitate communication with the Carroll County community.

 

Essential Duties

  • Work with Digital Communications Manager on Meeting Portal Project.
  • Support daily activities of the Communications Office and A/V Staff.
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations. Assist in the maintenance of a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
  • Complete assigned work in a timely fashion. Accept feedback.
  • Demonstrate and ability to collaborate and a willingness to learn. Participate in a supportive work environment.
  • Exhibit integrity, ethics, and fiscal responsibility.

  • High school diploma or general education diploma (GED)

  • Contractual Position: 20 hours per week, July 17 - October 08, 2025.
