Elementary General Studies teacher

Kinneret Day School is a warm, diverse, Zionist, pluralistic Jewish Day School in the Riverdale area of the Bronx. We are currently seeking a full time elementary General Studies teacher for our elementary grades. Experience in developing writing and grammar skills, reading, differentiated instruction, positive parent and community communication, and preparation for state assessments. Responsibilities:

- Create engaging differentiated lesson plans and deliver instruction to elementary school students
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods
- Implement education intervention strategies for students who require additional support or accelerated learning
- Communicate positively and effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
- Administer assessments to evaluate student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
- Collaborate with education administration to support school initiatives

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
