Licensed Professional Counselor

As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide individuals with the psycho-social support and education needed to address their identified mental well-being needs. Services include activation, assessment, diagnosis, advocacy, and delivery of counseling services in a skilled nursing facility setting. Our therapists only go to one skilled nursing facility each day, and we will match you up with facilities based on your location within the greater Phoenix area to minimize your commute. Compensation is based upon experience and clinical licensure.

Necessary Qualifications:
– Current, active, and unencumbered AZ State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
– Excellent diagnostic skills, care collaboration, treatment planning, and short-term counseling skills leveraging evidence-based methodologies, including but not limited to, motivational interviewing, problem solving therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy
– Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal and team skills
– A deep understanding of the psychosocial aspects of illness and health
– Demonstrates understanding of insurance, Medicaid, and Medicare billing requirements
– Evidence of strong crisis intervention skills
