Sales and Marketing Associate for Payments Startup

Tendy is a new payments startup that lets you pay anyone, no matter what payment app they use (so it works with Venmo, Zelle, CashApp, and PayPal), also without the need to share your personal information.  It's also great for use cases like fundraising and receiving tips.

We're looking for a talented and motivated sales and marketing intern or associate to help us spread the word and generate usage of Tendy around NYC this summer.

• At businesses that still try to collect payments or tips with cash
• Sign up street musicians who are currently soliciting tips with Venmo or other payment apps
• At outdoor events, such as concerts, movie nights, festivals, fireworks, etc.
• In restaurants/coffee shops/bars, probably to supplement cash tip jars
• Just out and about paying/promoting to individual people
• Generating some good content we can use on social media
