Do you like attending sports events? Would you like to learn and work with the different technologies and development practices of UCI Athletics? At Athletics IT, we are a dedicated team responsible for providing technology solutions for sports events. We are a dynamic, diverse, and collaborative team focused on providing excellent customer service and cutting-edge technology solutions for our staff supporting live sporting events. 

We are looking for student workers with a broad range of skillsets who are ready to take on the challenges of bringing technology, processes, and people together to advance UCI Athletics programs towards their academic and performance goals. You will be working to support live sports events at various venues within the Athletics complex.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Act as Primary Support Contact during Athletics Events, communicating with clients, troubleshooting issues, and escalating to the appropriate technical teams
  • Asset, software, and hardware management
  • Specialized sports software installations

Schedule 

  • Flexible weekly hours: usually 7 to 18 hours per week
  • Most work hours are scheduled in the afternoon or evenings during weekdays
  • Must be able to work during weekend
  • We understand your academic responsibilities come first. We offer flexibility during mid-terms and finals.
