Overview:
Cranel is seeking a motivated Product Marketing Coordinator to support our sales and marketing initiatives for key product lines. This role bridges the gap between our vendors and internal teams, ensuring clear communication, effective product representation, and ongoing marketing success. Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence
- Serve as the main contact for assigned manufacturers, sharing product, pricing, and policy info internally and with customers.
- Understand vendor programs and manage their integration into company operations and sales processes.
- Keep product and service catalog data up to date, including pricing, discounts, and rebates.
- Track and report on gross profit and revenue vs. rebate goals.
- Coordinate with Purchasing and Sales to align forecasts with inventory needs.
- Manage deal registrations and vendor programs and ensure smooth transaction flow through the sales system.
Sales & Product Support
- Equip sales teams with training materials, market analysis, and competitive comparisons.
- Respond to daily inquiries from sales reps, providing timely and accurate support.
- Support product and program launches with pre-sales guidance and training.
- Deliver product positioning sessions internally and with vendor collaboration.
- Join sales calls to advocate for product solutions and assist in closing opportunities.
- Collaborate and strategize with sales leadership to drive successful go-to-market plans.
Marketing Initiatives
- Develop and execute product rollout strategies and promotions.
- Help recruit, onboard, and retain Office Equipment Dealers, VARs, and ISVs.
- Build and manage CRM marketing lists for targeted outreach and campaigns.
- Oversee the use of vendor co-op marketing funds to support joint marketing programs.
- Work with internal marketing teams on ads, targeted outreaches, press releases. etc.
- Coordinate participation in vendor-sponsored marketing activities.
Vendor Relationship Management
- Build strong working relationships with manufacturer contacts in sales, marketing, and operations.
- Understand vendor org structures and help develop field-level sales partnerships.
- Schedule and lead quarterly business reviews with key vendor partners.
- Represent Cranel at manufacturer conferences and industry events.
Qualifications
- 0–4 years of experience in product marketing, sales support, or business development.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with sales, operations, and vendors.
- Experience with VARs, dealers, and channel sales is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Document Management or ECM industry is a plus.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; CRM experience preferred.
