About the Role
Red Top Meadows, a residential treatment and therapeutic wilderness program for boys ages 12–17, is seeking a passionate and flexible Math/Science Teacher to join our team. This full-time position involves teaching a wide range of math and science subjects in a small, supportive classroom setting while working closely with a multidisciplinary team to support students’ academic and therapeutic growth.
What You’ll Teach
- Math: Basic Math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II, Geometry
- Science: Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences
- Shared Instruction: Reading & Writing Workshop, Physical Education, Life Skills, and Educational Games & Initiatives
Key Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned to Wyoming State Standards
- Work collaboratively with teachers, therapists, and childcare staff to support student progress
- Develop and track individualized learning plans (ILPs) and participate in IEP meetings
- Provide classroom direction and support to aides
- Use data to drive instruction and monitor student achievement
- Participate in one seasonal wilderness trip (Fall, Winter, or Spring)
- Incorporate project-based learning, field trips, and community resources
- Support arts integration and therapeutic learning across settings
Schedule & Benefits
Time Off:
- 5 weeks in summer
- 2 weeks for Christmas

Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Education or a related field
- Experience teaching diverse learners, especially in alternative or special education settings
- Ability to obtain a Wyoming teaching license
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
