Business Data Analyst

🔍 Role:
As a Business Data Analyst, you’ll work closely with data engineers, BI developers, API teams, and UX designers to translate raw healthcare data into actionable insights. Your primary mission is to analyze and transform claims, clinical, and supplemental datasets into a Common Data Model, supporting everything from data ingestion and KPI definition to dashboard design and production readiness.

✅ Requirements:
🔸 Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, or related field
🔸 5+ years of experience as a Data or Business Analyst in healthcare
🔸 Strong knowledge of EDI 837/835, CCDA/XML, FHIR, and JSON formats
🔸 Experience with Common Data Models, transformation logic, and clinical coding systems (ICD-10, CPT, LOINC, etc.)
🔸 Proficient in SQL for data validation and profiling
🔸 Familiarity with BI tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics Cloud
🔸 Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud)
🔸 Understanding of interoperability standards (HL7, FHIR)
🔸 Excellent communication and documentation skills
🔸 Bonus: Experience in API specs or collaborating with UI/UX teams
