Project Coordinator

We have an open position for a Project Coordinator that will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager and Superintendent on assigned project(s).
 
Job Description
Reports to Project Manager or assigned project leadership. Provides support for all administrative duties, planning, and coordination on assigned construction projects to ensure schedule, budget, cost, and project requirements are met. Will interact with project’s owner/owner’s representative, construction field staff, subcontractors, suppliers, clients, and other project staff on a regular basis.
 
Duties (will include but are not limited to the following):
·        Organize and maintain all project required documentation, data, and correspondence between owner, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
·        Review, prepare, and submit submittals and requests for information for approval by owner. 
·        Support field staff with interpretation of drawings and specifications
·        Coordinate material orders, deliveries, and support scheduling of subcontractors and vendors.
·        Maintain all document, and project controls systems, and procedures.
·        Perform project closeout procedures including involvement in operation/maintenance manuals, guarantees, warranties, and related provisions.
·        Perform other duties as directed by the Project Manager
 
Qualifications
·        Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or Construction Management preferred
·        Experience in the Construction Industry
·        Excellent Communication Skills both written and verbal.
·        Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team player.
·        Understanding of contracts, documents, drawings, and specifications.
·        Strong administrative support and computer skills
·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite products.
·        Ability to always represent the company in a professional manner.
