Internship Abroad For Humanitarian or Community Work
We offer a range of rewarding internships such as teaching children English, Womens Empowerment, Disabled Care or Medical/ Healthcare placements. We also offer amazing animal care and wildlife and marine conservation programs such as dog shelter work, wild elephants and sea turtles.
All our programs are created and managed with the dual goal of providing sustainable development that aid the region you travel, as well as providing incredibly gratifying and immersive travel experiences that will enable you to learn and live outside your comfort zone. You can add to your University program, earn credits and amp up your resume with global placements.

In India, our marquee projects are located in the stunning and charming town of Fort Kochi in Kerala, an absolute gem of a destination in South India, popularly referred to as "God's Own Country" due to it's rustic backwaters, gorgeous beaches, serene tea plantations, rich culture and multi-faceted history and delightfully sumptuous cuisine. The projects we offer here are women's empowerment, teaching children, disabled care, school renovations and medical/dentistry placements. While India may be too large and overwhelming for some, our locations (especially Kerala) provide an amazing sanctuary for those looking for a slower pace of life in a scenic and safe environment.

2. Sri Lanka (Visit our Sri Lanka Webpage for the range of our Sri Lankan Programs)
Our program in Sri Lanka are based in the gorgeous Southern hub Galle - home to the famous 17th century Dutch Fort which houses many beautiful pieces of colonial architecture behind its walls, as well as an absorbing collection of quirky shops and restaurants. Galle is an expansive area, encompassing not only the famed Fort, but it is also in close proximity to some world class beaches.
The programs here include teaching English in local schools, buddhist monk teaching, disabled care, sea turtle care, elephant conservation and medical/ nursing placements.
Please note that our Elephant Conservation Program which is an award winning conservation program is in the area of Wasmaguma.

Our Placements in Nepal will be based in Kathmandu. Nepal is truly a cultural and spiritual mecca and home to major Buddhist and Hindu shrines. The ancient city of Kathmandu is mesmerising and there is no doubt that you will love the people of Nepal are known for their smiles and warm hospitality and this is one country that leaves you wanting more.

Cambodia is a beautiful Southeast Asian country and our community projects are in Phnom Penh. The fate of Cambodia shocked the world when the radical communist Khmer Rouge under their leader Pol Pot seized power in 1975 after years of guerrilla warfare. An estimated 1.7 million Cambodians died during the next three years, many from exhaustion or starvation. Others were tortured and executed. Today, Cambodia is one of the poorest countries in the world and relies heavily on aid.
Community work is critical and you can help support children who need support and education in schools, care homes, and also join with medical and nursing electives in some large public hospitals.

Cusco is one of the oldest cities in South America and situated in close proximity to the tourist mecca of Machu Picchu. You will get a true Peruvian experience living with a local family in home stays around Cusco.You can join us in Peru for teaching English, assisting in after school teaching, dog shelter programs, environment programs, medical and nursing placements as well are fantastic in Peru.

This gem of a country has something for almost every traveler, from surfing and scuba diving to hiking and exploring the charming towns. The terrain and ecosystems are incredibly varied and home to 6% of the Earth's biodiversity. Mountains rise from the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea to form the spine of Costa Rica and define hundreds of micro-climates.
Most of our programs are located in San Ramon de Alajuela and neighbouring towns. Wildlife and sea turtle programs are located in the pacific coast and Fortuna Area.
Volunteer and Internship Programs in Costa Rica run year round. Some of the programs you can join include:
