Sales Intern

The Role:
We’re seeking a motivated, self-starting Sales Intern to help us expand our client base. You’ll be responsible for identifying and reaching out to small business owners, booking consultations, and guiding prospects through the sales process. You don’t need to be an SEO expert (we’ll train you), but you should be confident talking to entrepreneurs and able to explain value clearly.

Responsibilities:

Prospect and qualify leads via email, phone, and LinkedIn

Educate local business owners on the value of local SEO and our services

Book and conduct discovery calls or hand them off to a strategist

Close new accounts and help manage onboarding communications

Maintain accurate records in our CRM

Collaborate on outreach strategies and pitch refinement

Qualifications:

1+ year of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles

Strong communication skills and a persuasive, consultative approach

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and meet goals

Comfortable with tools like CRM software, email platforms, and LinkedIn

Bonus: Experience with local businesses, SEO/digital marketing, or SaaS sales
