Unit Dose Pharmacy Technician
GLC Government Services is seeking an experienced Unit Dose Pharmacy Technician. This is a unique experience to work in an advanced research environment in a state of the art facility in Bethesda, MD.
Looking for someone flexible. Hours would be 40 hours per week. Shift work will be expected including days, evenings and night shifts. Hours may vary working the following shifts: 6a-2:30p, 630a-3p, 7a-3:30p, 730a - 4p, 8a-4:30p, 9a-5:30p, 1p-9:30p, 3p-11:30, Monday through Friday and every other weekend, working 5 days a week.
Requirements:
- Must have PTCB certified
- Must have a clear and active Pharmacy Tech license
- At least 1 year of recent Pharmacy Tech experience as a Unit Dose Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment is preferred.
- Prior experience with ScriptPro is preferred but not required

Scope of Work:
- Knowledgeable in ScriptPro.
- Filing and labeling Study/Investigational medications including double binds.
- Enter patient specific medication labels including lot numbers, expiration dates, manufacturers, drug strength, and drug dosages.
- Package and calculate medication for pickup and mail outs for patients.
- Collect patient data such as phone numbers, addresses, and method of delivery for record use.
- Refill prescription orders.
- Pull near-expired medications from shelves for inventory.
- Clean medication bins, pill counters, spatulas, and workstations.

Pay: $26.03 per hour
