Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical codes and safety standards, as well as the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and voltmeters.
  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction projects, including frame carpentry.
  • Work with high voltage systems safely and effectively.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential problems.

Skills

  • Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to electrical work.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety practices.
  • Experience in industrial electrician tasks as well as commercial electrician duties.
  • Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams accurately.
  • Familiarity with high voltage systems and their safe handling.
  • Competence in using diagnostic tools such as ammeters and voltmeters for troubleshooting.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
