Optometrist
Smoke Vision Care is seeking a full-time or part-time optometrist to join our growing private practice in southwestern Michigan. The ideal candidate is a hard-working and dedicated professional that is interested in practicing full scope optometry while developing long-term relationships with our loyal patients.
We are a family-oriented private practice that was established in 1991 and has grown to three locations in the southwestern Michigan area. Our mission is to provide our patients with the highest standards in eye health and vision care services with a strong dedication to preserving personalized attention and genuine concern for their visual well-being. Our offices are in the amazing communities of Buchanan, New Buffalo and Dowagiac. Buchanan was voted “The Nicest Place in America” by Readers Digest in 2020. The area has so much to offer including being minutes away from Lake Michigan and South Bend (home of Notre Dame), plentiful outdoor recreation opportunities and within 75 miles of Chicago.
The full-time associate optometrist position will offer the opportunity to practice full scope primary care optometry in all three locations while maintaining a comfortable patient schedule. The position will require 4 to 4.5 days per week of patient care. Benefit package will include a competitive salary and options for medical insurance, disability insurance, life insurance, medical malpractice insurance, 401K match, generous PTO and no regular on call responsibility.
