Production Associate

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a dedicated Production Associate to joint our Expansion Joint team. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on production experience.
This role is responsible for the fabrication of expansion joint forms in alignment with technical specifications and quality standards.
Essential Duties:
- Adhere to industry quality and safety standards.
- Operate production machinery in accordance with production specifications and work instructions.
- Follow shop orders for cutting, building, packaging and labeling product.
- Produce required quantity of parts/product within established specifications.
- Complete required production records accurately.
- Assist in Expansion Joint Woodshop as needed.
- Meet On Time Delivery goals.
- Maintain continuous improvement mindset and offer new ideas.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
- Demonstrate strong proficiency in mathematical calculations and precise measurement.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Work Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Related technical school or training is preferred but not required.
Knowledge/Skills and Ability Requirements:
- Ability to measure and cut materials to specifications.
- Ability to apply math concepts effectively
- Ability to utilize hand and power tools
- Ability to read and utilize measuring devices.
- Ability to read and update work orders.
- Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to learn.
- Frequently required to stand and walk, reach with hand and arms, stoop, kneel or crouch.
- Ability to lift and/or move objects up to 20 lbs; occasionally up to 35 lbs.
