Job Description
The System Applications Engineer will design customized building automation systems and energy management solutions for our customers. The Engineer is responsible for producing accurate, relevant and professionally presented drawings and documentation by creating new and revising existing drawings, manuals, system sequences of operation, installation and developer documentation and submittals. As an Application Engineer, you will be expected to provide technical and product support internal to the company. Engineer will be required to communicate effectively with internal members at CTI/HTS/DXS, such as Project Managers, Electricians, Technicians and our Sales team.
Minimum Required Skills/Experience
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC Controls
- Proficient with MS Office software
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
- Ability to use and navigate drafting software, preferably AutoCAD
- Broad electrical and mechanical knowledge of HVAC Controls
- Proficient knowledge of construction industry structure, culture and methods
- Ability to edit and/or assemble a sequence of operation from library
- Understands mechanical and electrical equations required for engineering
- Complete knowledge of controller, device, sensor and hardware knowledge
- Ability to provide installation, troubleshoot, and alternate solution guidance to others
- Ability to identify problems with scope, 3rd party controls, estimate
- Ability to provide some guidance and mentorship to junior engineers

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
