Housing and transportation were covered. Friendly coworkers.
What I wish was different
Getting accommodations was incredibly difficult. I was also injured. It's difficult financially and academically.
Advice
I would recommend doing this internship when you are finished with college. It's very difficult to do college classes and this internship at the same time.

Busser
April - August 2023 • Anaheim, CA
What I liked
The fellow bussers were very kind and understanding when trading shifts. They are also always willing to help. I also had great guest interactions, and love helping people have a memorable experience!
What I wish was different
Management is very out of touch, and doesn't respect our time. If they were understanding pertaining to their workers' personal lives, I would have had a great experience. Their 5 day/week scheduling requirement is insane especially in the hear. They straight up told me they would not accommodate my class schedule.
Advice
Bussing with any other company would be much more enjoyable! Unless you love working long hours under a company that doesn't care about your mental or physical well-being, I recommend applying elsewhere.

Disney College Program Cast Member
May - December 2022 • Orlando, FL
What I liked
I liked that I was able to meet and interact with so many people from various backgrounds. And I was able to learn new skill sets for various jobs.
What I wish was different
I wish I would’ve branched out more when it came to outside activities. Whether that means participating in more fun activities or even picking up shifts at different locations.
Advice
I would say you make your program. If you go in with a negative outlook that’s what will happen. Go in with a positive outlook and try to make the best out of any situation that you’re put into.

Rides Attendant
February - December 2019 • Orlando, FL
What I liked
Everything. The magic of the job, the networking and additional learning opportunities, my coworkers, and the experience.
What I wish was different
Hours can be difficult. Some weeks you can be getting scheduled barely 30 while some weeks you have 40+ and a scheduled 6th day.
Advice
Make the most of it. Take all the opportunities it offers.
