Visiting Nurse Service of New York

About Visiting Nurse Service of New York

At the Visiting Nurse Service of New York (VNSNY), we are dedicated to providing high-quality health care in the home and the community. We’ve been a vital part of New Yorkers’ lives since 1893, with a tradition of vision and action that has taken our industry in new and important directions. Last year, we served more than 165,000 patients in the five boroughs of New York City, as well as Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester Counties. Our patients range from newborns to the oldest of the elderly (100+), and reflect the socio-economic and cultural diversity of the New York metro area. VNSNY’s core services include skilled nursing, rehabilitation therapy, social work, and personal care services. These services are provided through a variety of programs, including:

Post-Acute Care Services
Children and Family Services
Community Mental Health Services
HIV/AIDS Services
Home Health Intake Coordination
Hospice and Palliative Care
Maternity, Newborn, and Pediatrics
Nurse-Family Partnership Program
Rehabilitation Therapies
