I love this intership! I liked Working with the community outreach program while working at Carver Elementary is amazing in showing its interns how important it is to connect with the community around you. I also happen to be going to school to become a future educator so this has given me a lot of hands on experience!

Come in open minded and willing to put yourself in other peoples shoes!

It was a great short term position. You are able to make an impact on high school students interested in the arts. The other counselors and supervisors are an amazing group to work with!

Clinical Research Intern

What I liked
I loved learning research techniques, strength and condition curriculums, and medical terminology. Working in the sports medicine field, as an athlete, was a dream come true. It was like I was on the “other side of the field,” seeing athletic performance from a different perspective.
What I wish was different
I wish that I could have also worked with other labs, besides only the cardiovascular lab I was with. I wanted to see everything!
