I liked being able to focus on exploring what I found interesting for a future career, and Being able to find a direction through this internship.

Being able to continue with a co-op, to keep contributing with projects I had created.
Advice
Use internship experiences to really figure out what you want to do for a career. Your career isn't a linear path, it's very dynamic, so make sure you explore all of your viable options.

What I liked
I really loved the environment working at TIAA. Everyone that you meet was nice and so eager to help you out on day 1. They also allowed you to explore whatever you are interested in so you can grow into different spaces.
What I wish was different
I wished more people would look into roles that aren't in their exact field but still follow the same passion/values.
Advice
Don't overlook opportunities that seem like they won't be a good fit to you because you never know what is behind a closed door.
